Seaside in St. Croix Condo
Island Life

St. Croix is located in the Caribbean Sea, east of Puerto Rico and is a short plane ride from the United States. Most major airlines have flights to Puerto Rico with continuing commuter service to St. Croix; several have direct flights from the East coast. Starting in 2004, there is also a weekly direct flight from Copenhagen. St. Croix is the largest of the US Virgin Islands, measuring 28 miles by 7 miles; it is the most residential of the USVI with approximately 50,000 year round inhabitants.

Although St. Croix might be a little more peaceful, safe and relaxing than the masses of cruise ship-filled streets of St. Thomas, don't be fooled into thinking that there is nothing to do! Travelers are often surprised by the diversity of the island. You can explore the rich multi-cultural history, seven county's flags have flown over the island since visited by Christopher Columbus in 1493 on his second voyage to the new world, and the island's wide variety of geographical splendors; ranging from gently rolling hills, sun-drenched white powdery beaches, to the dry cacti-covered east end to the dense rain forest on the northwest. Eco tours by plane, kayak, boat, horseback, safari bus and hiking let you embrace the uniqueness of St. Croix.

And of course, St. Croix is known worldwide for its fabulous year round weather, clean, safe & beautiful beaches, top ranked SCUBA dive sites, challenging professionally designed golf courses, and championship sport fishing!

Don't be afraid to mingle and immerse yourself into the Virgin Island culture, meet and greet the friendly (but reserved) local Cruzan people. A polite smile and a "Good Morning or Good Afternoon" go a long way to making your Virgin Island vacation a special one. The island is a wealth of talented artists and musicians. Take a one-of-a-kind treasure home with you; both duty and sales tax free! Dance the night away, in one of our many night spots, to the rhythms of Jazz, R & B, Steel pan, Reggae, or piano. Or, lie in a hammock (strung between two palm trees), barefoot (and sipping a fresh pina colada), at a beach side bar watching the full moon rise over the waves and listening to the lone musician strumming classic guitar. Ahhhh...the island life! Won't you join us?

Traveling to St. Croix is very easy and uncomplicated, it is a U.S. possession. The language, currency & banking, and customs & holidays are mostly the same. There are just a few colorful local variations added to "spice up" the Cruzan lifestyle and make St. Croix unique! Upon departure, anyone (including children) wanting to reenter the US is required to have government issued proof of citizenship (passport or raised seal birth certificate) and photo ID.
