St. Croix is located in the Caribbean Sea, east of Puerto Rico and is a short plane ride from the United States. Most major airlines have flights to Puerto Rico with continuing commuter service to St. Croix; several have direct flights from the East coast. Starting in 2004, there is also a weekly direct flight from Copenhagen. St. Croix is the largest of the US Virgin Islands, measuring 28 miles by 7 miles; it is the most residential of the USVI with approximately 50,000 year round inhabitants.

Although St. Croix might be a little more peaceful, safe and relaxing than the masses of cruise ship-filled streets of St. Thomas, don't be fooled into thinking that there is nothing to do!
